Why is it called The Redline?
Our name is a direct reference to the historic practice of redlining. Redlining was a discriminatory practice in which banks, insurers, and government agencies denied loans and services to residents based on where they lived. In the 1930s, maps were drawn marking "undesirable" neighborhoods in red, effectively locking millions out of homeownership, credit, and opportunity for generations. Today, there’s a staggering $60Billion racial wealth gap after decades of disinvestment in communities of color.
Do I need to be wealthy to invest?
Not at all. Through our community crowdfunding round (Reg CF), anyone can invest — regardless of income or net worth. Minimums start as low as $5k, because we believe ownership shouldn't be reserved for the few. If you've been waiting for an opportunity to put your money somewhere that means something, this is it.
How do I know which type of investment is right for me?
There are two paths. If you're an everyday investor, the crowdfunding round is open to you. If you're an accredited investor (meaning you earn $200K+ per year or have a net worth of $1M+), you may also be eligible for our private Reg D round, which offers larger stake opportunities.
Is this legit? How is it regulated?
Yes — fully. Our crowdfunding offering operates through WeFunder under Regulation CF, which is governed by the SEC and designed specifically to protect everyday investors. Our private round operates under Regulation D, a well-established federal exemption for private securities offerings. All filings are made in accordance with U.S. securities law. We take that responsibility seriously because this community deserves nothing less.
Can we tour the properties?
Yes! Our fully operational Venice Beach property is open for scheduled visits. Investors also get behind-the-scenes previews of new developments and design concepts. We love giving our partners a closer look at what they’re helping to build.
